Beltekhosmotr named the most common vehicle faults detected during technical inspection.
This topic was highlighted at a press conference by the head of the department for the organization of state technical inspections of Beltekhosmotr, Mikhail Mikhalovsky.
His statement is cited by BELTA .
What faults are most often detected during technical inspection?
According to Mikhalovskiy, from January to October of this year, approximately 20% of vehicles (around 260,000) were found to not meet the established requirements.
In 40% of cases, a non-compliance with the braking system was detected (a breach of tightness, cracked parts, a relative difference in the braking forces of the wheels).
Approximately 20% are faults related to external lighting devices (their condition, light intensity at the check point, light adjustment), 6% are engine problems (toxicity, engine smoke, tightness of the gas fuel system).
Steering problems and insufficient vehicle equipment are also identified.
The representative of Beltekhosmotr added that about 1.28 million permits were issued in January-October of this year. Last year – 1.527 million.
