Beltekhosmotr told about the peculiarities of passing technical inspection in winter.
This topic was covered by the head of the department of state technical inspection organization "Beltekhosmotr" Mikhail Mikhalovsky.
His statement is cited by BELTA .
What is the difference between passing a technical inspection in winter?
As Mikhalovskiy explained, technical inspection in winter is practically no different from technical inspection in other periods.
The exception is the requirements for vehicle tires.
In winter, vehicles must be equipped with winter tires of categories M1 and N1.
Winter tires must be on all wheels of the car. There must also be appropriate markings.
If studded tires are used, they must be fitted to all wheels.
