Information has emerged about the concern’s plans to close at least 3 factories in Germany.

Many people connected with Volkswagen could lose their jobs.

Cavallo announced plans by the board of directors of the auto giant to close at least three plants in Germany.

According to a Volkswagen spokeswoman, the company has already informed employees of such intentions.

Cavallo emphasized that the enterprise located in the German city of Osnabrück was in the “special risk zone.”

In addition, Volkswagen management intends to fire a large number of employees. It is possible that tens of thousands of people will be left without work.

Currently, the auto giant operates 10 factories in Germany. These enterprises employ approximately 120,000 people.

People not affected by potential layoffs at Volkswagen could face significant pay cuts, it has been reported.
