A ban has been introduced on the import of certain windshield washer fluids into the republic.
The circulation of the products included in the list is also prohibited during the autumn-winter period.
The corresponding decision was made by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus.
This is evidenced by the content of the resolution of the deputy head of the above-mentioned department Svetlana Nechay, BELTA reports.
It is emphasized that the import and circulation of some windshield washers is prohibited due to the excess ethanol content in these products.
What antifreeze products are prohibited to import?
The list includes the following products intended for cleaning vehicle windows:
- North Way -30 and Ice Clean -30 (manufacturer - Optima, Russian Federation);
- Antifrost -30 and Anti Ice -30 (manufacturer - Avangard, Russian Federation);
- Alpina -30 (manufacturer - Transtech, RF);
- Gleid Unlimited -30 (manufacturer - "Komtorg", Russian Federation");
- Arctic Panther -30 (manufacturer - "Riviera", Russian Federation);
- Arctica -30 (manufacturer - EcoChem, Russian Federation);
- Crystal Clear -30 (manufacturer - "Ekokemika-VL", Russian Federation).
In addition, the list also includes some other windshield washers. We are talking about some products produced by Russian companies Tech-Line, Gelena Khimavto, Avalon, Detalavto and Gral.
The Ministry of Health has called on residents of the country to take this information into account when choosing a product for cleaning car windows.
