An increase in transport tax is planned in our country.
This is evidenced by the draft amendments to the Tax Code.

How will the transport tax change?
According to the information presented in the above-mentioned project, the following increase in the transport tax rate for individuals on passenger cars weighing up to one and a half tons is planned: from 66 to 70 Belarusian rubles.
As for passenger cars, the mass of which is more than one and a half tons, but not more than 1.75 tons, the figure may change from 87 to 92 Belarusian rubles.
For vehicles whose mass exceeds 1.75 tons, but is a maximum of 2 tons, the tax is planned to be increased from 110 to 116 BYN.
For passenger cars weighing more than two tons, but not more than 2.25 tons, the figure, according to plans, will increase from 131 to 138 Belarusian rubles.
As for vehicles whose weight exceeds 2.25 tons, but is no more than 2.5 tons, the rate is planned to be increased from 153 to 161 Belarusian rubles.
The planned change in the tax on cars with a weight of more than 2.5 tons, but not more than 3 tons - from 174 to 183 rubles.
And for passenger cars whose mass exceeds 3 tons, the tax may change as follows: from 240 to 253 BYN.
It is emphasized that the tax is also planned to be increased for trucks, motorcycles, and trailers.
