In Belarus, the unified program for improving the qualifications of drivers of category B mechanical vehicles has been adjusted.
The changes were introduced by the decree of the Ministry of Transport and Communications No. 83 dated September 17 of this year.
As reported by the Belta agency with reference to the press service of the department, among the main innovations is the reduction of the period for advanced training from 8 to 5 days.
The number of training hours will also be reduced from the current 55 to 35 hours.
In addition, the requirements for the minimum list of educational equipment for a classroom have been updated for some subjects.
The Ministry of Transport’s resolution will come into force on October 9, 2024.
For reference: Currently, drivers in the country can improve their qualifications for category B in 32 organizations.
And 33 organizations provide the corresponding services under category D.
