The Minsk State Traffic Inspectorate recommends arriving at the locations of festive events well in advance on City Day and using shopping center parking lots.
These recommendations were given at a press conference on September 10 by the deputy head of the capital's traffic police, Denis Livanovich.

Where in Minsk will traffic be restricted on September 14
As Livanovich explained, stopping and parking in the parking lot near the Sports Palace, as well as near house No. 2 on Pobediteley Avenue, will be restricted.
Only emergency medical vehicles and official vehicles used to maintain law and order will be allowed there.
Traffic restrictions will also affect the parking lot along house No. 1 on Pobediteley Avenue and near the Great Patriotic War Museum (from the night of September 14).
Before the fireworks, parking will be restricted on Starovilenskaya and Kommunisticheskaya streets.
Additional traffic police crews will be deployed in all areas of the capital and at all holiday locations.
The traffic police officers are aimed at ensuring road safety, maintaining law and order and providing assistance to citizens arriving at the venues of festive events by private transport.
At the same time, the State Traffic Inspectorate recommends using public transport.
