As a rule, they are connected by a line with a washing machine with an asterisk next to it.
In old Indesits, you need to hold down buttons “A” and “B” (rinse and spin) for 5 seconds.
In Hotpoint Ariston washing machines, self-cleaning is started by holding the "Extra Rinse" and "Quick Wash" buttons. You need to hold the buttons for 5 seconds - until you hear a beep.
In the case of Samsung machines, no tricks are usually required.
You just need to press the ECO Drum Clean button, which turns on the ECO Drum Clean mode.
