We often use gum when we need to freshen our breath or get rid of food particles stuck in our teeth.
But this product has another, dark side: if the gum sticks to your clothes, you can say goodbye to the item.
Of course, not always, but only when an inappropriate method is chosen to remove chewing gum.
Do not try to remove the gum using a knife under any circumstances.
The chances of you damaging the fabric and causing a hole in that area are much higher than the chances of you being able to remove the stain.
All of the above applies equally to any other sharp objects.
The most reliable way to remove chewing gum without leaving streaks is to use ice.
It will help not only when your wardrobe items are dirty, but also in cases where chewing gum has stuck to the carpet or furniture.
Place a few ice cubes in a plastic bag and leave it on the stained area for about half an hour.
After the specified period of time, you can begin cleaning.
To do this, take a spoon, a plastic card or something similar (the main condition is that it should not have sharp edges) and remove the remaining chewing gum.
