A dirty bathtub, with plaque and mold that is dangerous to health, is a common problem for many homeowners.
This is especially relevant for apartments for rent.
The first thing that comes to mind when such a problem catches your eye is the need to spend money on expensive cleaning and washing products.
No, there is no real need for this. There is another way to solve the problem - more effective and much more economical
Using these three simple tools, which almost everyone probably has, you can quickly and easily restore your bathtub to its former cleanliness and make it shine like new.
And, what is very important, these products will not damage the surface.
So, here's what we do. Take a tablespoon of citric acid and a teaspoon of dishwashing liquid.
We dilute them in warm water (half a glass).
Mix this thoroughly. Then wet a sponge with the mixture and apply the product to the walls of the bathtub.
We will also go over the overflow and drain, attaching paper towels to them (so that our solution does not flow out).
After ten minutes, the plaque will become softer and can be easily removed with the hard side of the sponge.
The overflow and drain are most conveniently cleaned using a brush.
After the procedure, rinse the bathtub with running water and wipe it dry. And see how it shines with snow-white, blinding cleanliness.
To remove mold and mildew from the surface of the bathtub, you can use another homemade remedy.
Combine three teaspoons of powder with bleach – you should get a paste-like mass.
Using a brush, apply the mixture to the moldy areas and leave for 15 minutes.
After the specified time, remove the plaque with a brush and rinse the surface with water.
