In most models of washing machines, the detergent drawer is divided into three compartments.
They are marked with numbers or symbols (depending on the brand of the washing machine). We will tell you about the purpose of each section.
The first compartment, marked with the number 1 or the letter A, is intended for pre-wash.
Only washing powder can be added to this compartment.
The second compartment, marked with the number 2 or the letter B, is the main one. As a rule, it is the largest.
This compartment can be filled with both powder and liquid detergent. Bleach and stain remover are also added here.
The third compartment, marked with a star, snowflake or flower, is for fabric softener only. Bleach/stain remover should not be added to this compartment.
