Some types of fabrics absolutely cannot be washed in hot water – even 40 degrees are unacceptable for them.
Due to the high temperature and intensive washing mode, such delicate fabrics can be damaged beyond repair.
Items made of silk should be washed using water at a temperature of 30 degrees, but not 60.
If you throw synthetic fabric into the drum of the washing machine and select a mode with a water temperature of 60 degrees, be prepared for the fact that it will immediately lose its color, and shape too. Acceptable temperatures for synthetics are 30-40 degrees.
At first glance, nothing will happen to items made from these fabrics, but over time you will notice that they wear out faster than items washed at 40 degrees.
To wash these fabrics, use cold water or water that does not exceed 30 degrees. Do not turn on a washing machine cycle that lasts longer than 50 minutes.
