Even such a simple process as ironing clothes has its own rules - if you don’t follow them, things will be hopelessly ruined.
We suggest you find out what you definitely shouldn’t do when using an iron – this way the fabric (and your mood) will definitely be fine.
It is best to iron items when they are almost dry after washing, that is, still slightly damp.
It goes without saying that not everyone has enough time to iron one or two items at a time, so continue to do what you are used to: collect washed clothes, and before ironing, pour water into the iron to slightly dampen the fabric.
This will help soften the fibers and make it easier to remove wrinkles.
Modern irons can handle tap water without any problems, so unless the water in your area is too hard, using distilled water is not necessary.
But if the water is very hard, it is recommended to mix it with distilled water in a 1:1 ratio before pouring it into the iron.
The more wrinkles there are in your clothes, the more time you will spend removing them.
If you don’t want to bother with ironing, before hanging your clothes on the dryer, shake them well and stretch them slightly in your hands – the same manipulations should be done before ironing.
