For most families, carpet is a traditional floor covering that provides warmth and comfort.
However, sometimes carpeting can become a victim of unpleasant odors - for example, if there are pets or small children in the house, they may urinate on the carpet, causing it to smell bad.
Of course, you can use household chemicals to remove the repulsive smell, but why not try to deal with the problem using folk remedies? It will be cheaper, more convenient and no less effective.
Grate the soap and dissolve it in warm water. Treat the stain with the resulting solution, leave for 5-10 minutes and then rinse the area with water.
Dissolve 1 tablespoon in 1 liter of water, apply the resulting mixture to the carpet and leave for 15-20 minutes. After that, wipe the area with a damp cloth.
Mix baking soda with water to form a thick paste, apply it to the stain and leave for a few hours, then remove the remaining baking soda with a vacuum cleaner.
Mix acetic acid with water in a ratio of 1:2, apply the solution to the stain and leave it for a few minutes. All that remains is to wipe the carpet with a damp cloth to remove the vinegar residue.
