If you want terry products to retain their softness, fluffiness and other qualities for which we all love them so much for a long time, you should provide them with proper care.

This means that when washing terry cloth, you should only choose a delicate washing cycle.

Before throwing items into the drum of the washing machine, sort the items. Do not wash terry items together with other items that require more intensive washing.

Avoid contact of terry products with clothing that has metal fittings (fasteners, zippers, buttons), as this may lead to snags.

Another important point: when washing in a washing machine, do not fill the drum completely, leave about two-thirds of the volume free to prevent the terry pile from wrinkling and clumping.

The appropriate temperature for washing robes and towels does not exceed 60 °C, and the spin speed is no more than 800 rpm. If you wash by hand, avoid excessive wringing.

Finally, we consider it necessary to remind you about the need to wash terry items in soft water. If your tap water is hard, you can soften it using the following methods.

1. Salt. A small amount of salt can be added along with the powder when washing.

2. Vinegar. To soften water, just pour half a glass of 9% vinegar into the fabric softener compartment of your washing machine.

3. Baking soda: Before turning on the machine, add a few tablespoons of baking soda directly into the drum.

Earlier we talked about how you can use lemon peel in your everyday life.
