White things always look more elegant and stylish. But such wardrobe items need to be carefully looked after.

It happens that after frequent washings, white T-shirts or socks lose their ideal color and become grayer.

Usually the problem is using hard water when washing. But there is one trick that will save your clothes from this problem.

To do this, you can use citric acid when washing white items.

Just 10 grams of this substance should be dissolved in a liter of water. In such a solution, clothes should be left for 10-15 minutes, and then washed in the usual way. In this case, it is permissible to use regular oxygen bleach.

As a preventive measure, white dresses, shirts and T-shirts should be washed separately from other items. In addition, it is advisable to use gels and powders for whites.

As for conditioners, it is better to give preference to those that contain enzymes that prevent the appearance of pellets and lint on the fabric.

Earlier we talked about the French way of washing white clothes.
