Manufacturers of household chemicals persistently post recommendations on how to store these products in the home, despite the fact that only a few people read this information.
First of all, this concerns detergents and cleaning products that contain ingredients that are hazardous to health. Simply hiding such products from children is not enough.
Housewives were reminded about how to properly store household chemicals.
Basic rules
1. It turns out that not all products can be stored in living quarters, so it wouldn’t hurt to take another look at the manufacturer’s recommendations.
2. Do not pour liquid detergents (for washing dishes or laundry) into containers that are not intended for storing chemicals.
3. Products must not be stored in the open.
Where to store
Laundry detergent is usually stored in the bathroom, but it needs to be kept in a closed container, otherwise it will lose its properties.
It is more convenient to keep kitchen products under the sink, but this is not entirely correct.
It would be better to put household chemicals in cabinets that can be locked for the safety of small children.
It is also important to remember that the manufacturer provides temperature criteria for certain products.
That's why some things are stored away from heating devices, some only in warm places, and there are chemicals that are afraid of direct sunlight.
