We are talking about ordinary white vinegar, which perfectly removes detergent residue from the pile, kills bacteria and perfectly freshens things.
As experienced housewives note, table vinegar can be an excellent alternative to regular fabric softener.
When washing, it is enough to add just 20 ml of the product to make the towels soft.
If terry towels have become stiff due to washing powder and you don’t have vinegar on hand, you can soak the textiles in cold water.
The process should take about 5-6 hours. Then all that remains is to rinse the towels and dry them in the fresh air.
