Everyone knows that in winter, so-called “salt” stains often remain on shoes.

They are especially common after walking along pedestrian crossings or paths that have recently been salted.

To deal with salt stains, you can use a regular cloth with water or use store-bought products.

But water won't be effective enough, and you'll have to pay for the store-bought product.

How to remove salt from shoes

To deal with salt stains, simply mix vinegar and water in a 1 to 2 ratio – then mix a cloth in the resulting mixture.

You need to wipe the salt with vinegar, but it is not necessary to rinse with water. It would also be a good idea to apply a special shoe cream.

Vinegar can only be used for shoes made of genuine leather! This substance can damage other materials.
