You should not eat spoiled meat unless you want to get food poisoning.
But how do you know if a product has expired? What exactly should you pay attention to?
It turns out that this can be determined very simply and quickly.
You need to check the color, consistency and smell of the product.
Fresh meat does not have a strong aroma. If the product is rotten, then the smell will be correspondingly pungent.
It is better not to bring the spoiled piece to your face and nose to check.
It is much better to touch with your hand and then bring your palm to your face. Then you need to wash your hands. This method is considered safer.
If stains appear on the product, and the meat changes color and the shade becomes more gray or greenish instead of pink or red, then such a product is simply dangerous.
A spoiled product has an unpleasant texture. The meat loses its elasticity and becomes stickier or slippery.
You can press on the carcass with a spoon or finger. If the meat returns to its normal shape too slowly, it means it has already started to spoil.
