Over time, mold begins to appear inside any washing machine, causing an unpleasant odor.
We tell you how to clean your washing machine from mold.
Many machines have a special self-cleaning mode. Turn it on about once a month, and you can forget about mold.
Simply press and hold the "Intensive Wash" and "No Crease" buttons for a couple of seconds. These buttons are usually grouped by a square bracket with an asterisk in the center.
The main advantage of this mode is that you do not need to add any cleaning agents. The machine itself will switch to the cleaning mode as soon as you press the "Start" button.
If your machine does not have a self-cleaning mode, folk remedies will help.
For example, you can pour white vinegar into the powder and detergent dispenser and turn on a long wash cycle at maximum temperature (not lower than 60 degrees).
Or you can start the machine by adding half a glass of baking soda to the drum.
