In small quantities, refrigerator magnets pose virtually no harm to equipment.
However, it is better to remove them. We explain why.
Firstly, people with pacemakers should remove magnets from the refrigerator.
If there are a lot of magnets, the magnetic field they create can disable the stimulator.
Secondly, you shouldn’t hang magnets on the refrigerator if there are small children in the house.
A child attracted by a bright magnet can drop it on his head and get injured. Or simply scratch the surface of the refrigerator with the magnet.
Also, you cannot use neodymium magnets, they can damage electronics.
And in general, you shouldn’t hang a lot of magnets on the refrigerator, especially heavy ones.
