There is a trash can in almost every apartment: few people immediately throw waste into the garbage chute or into a container standing outside.
And not all housewives know that the bucket should not stand in the kitchen for months.
Sometimes the container needs to be “processed” in a certain way.
Otherwise, the device will become a source of unpleasant odor, which will be very difficult to remove.
The trash can must be washed with hot water. The procedure should be done weekly.
Doing this will ensure that the container does not become saturated with the stench.
Don't forget to wash the bucket regularly - and then you will never have to use household chemicals.
It is enough to skip the procedure a couple of times - and the unpleasant smell will become persistent.
What to do in such a situation? It is enough to mix two simple means - baking soda (1 tbsp.) and washing powder (0.5 tbsp.).
The loose mass must be poured with half a glass of water at a moderately high temperature.
The result will be a mixture that needs to be applied to a bucket and left for about a quarter of an hour.
Next, the mass should be washed off the container. The result of the procedure will be the complete elimination of the stench.
