White socks can perfectly complement any look, making it fresher and more interesting.

But for the effect to be truly positive, this wardrobe item must be free of a gray tint.

Still, such things quickly get dirty, lose their color and can turn gray over time.

But there are ways that can restore color to white socks.

The first option involves soaking the socks in a mixture of hot water, baking soda and table vinegar.

The clothes should be left in this solution for several hours.

Then the items should be soaked in warm soapy water and washed.

The second option involves soaking with the addition of ammonia and hydrogen peroxide.

For 3 liters of warm water you need to take just one spoon of peroxide and 3 spoons of ammonia.

You need to leave the socks in the mixture for a couple of hours, and then wash them with the addition of powder for whites.
