What to do with silicone molds after baking: not all housewives know about these rules
Baking molds made of silicone are indispensable helpers in any kitchen.
If you want your products to serve you for as long as possible, you should provide them with proper care.
Don't be afraid, there is nothing complicated about it. So, let's start, as they say, from the very beginning - from the moment of purchase.
Once you bring the mold home from the store, wash it in warm soapy water and dry it.
The same actions – washing and drying – should be performed after each use of silicone molds, but first you need to wait until they have cooled completely.
Then place the molds in cold water for a while, and after soaking, clean them from berry juice, burnt sugar, carbon deposits and other contaminants without using aggressive chemicals.
To tidy up the inside, the silicone mold can be bent outward.
If you need to get rid of dried-on dirt, use a sponge with baking soda applied to it.
