Pour water into the kettle up to the top mark, add 30 g of soda and boil the water.
The entire described procedure should be repeated at least 3 times, after which the product should be rinsed under running water.
If the smell is due to the fact that cheap, low-quality raw materials were used in the production of the teapot, we have some bad news for you – it would be better if you got rid of such a teapot.
The whole point is that when heated, harmful substances are released that will not benefit your body.
Finally, if we are talking about an old device, the appearance of a smell may indicate that the “age” of the electric kettle has come to an end – the plastic has already begun to crumble, and you should think about buying a new product.
