How to Dry Wet Shoes Quickly: An Emergency Method Without a Dryer

It takes at least a night to dry wet fur-lined shoes, provided you place them near a radiator.

If the boots are soaked to the skin, so to speak, this process takes even more time.

So, if you find yourself in a similar situation and don’t have a special dryer at hand, try using the most common salt.

Since the shoes are already wet, don't miss this opportunity to thoroughly wash them inside and out.

After this, tightly stuff the boots with rags - the rags should be laid as tightly as possible so that they absorb most of the moisture from the lining.

After this, you need to place a scoop in the boot, which, in turn, needs to be filled with salt heated in a frying pan.

Don't worry if you see steam coming out of your shoes - that's how it should be.

Leave the salt in the boots for 30-40 minutes: during this time it will absorb the remaining water and have time to cool down. If the boots are not dry enough, the "operation" with salt should be repeated.
