Paper towels, as many housewives think, are needed solely to dry your hands or brush crumbs off the work surface in the kitchen.
However, this is not entirely true - this truly ingenious invention of mankind has many more uses.
If you inadvertently took loose tea from a store shelf instead of the usual tea bags, you should not deny yourself the pleasure of warming up with a cup of aromatic drink.
The problem with floating tea leaves can be solved by straining the brewed tea through a paper towel.
Paper towels are also useful when you want to keep green onions, dill, parsley or any other aromatic herbs fresh for as long as possible.
To do this, wet the towels with water, then wrap the greens in them and put them in a zip-lock bag, which should be placed on the refrigerator shelf.
