One little trick will help you out when you have a very hard avocado on the table.
Avocado is a storehouse of vitamins and minerals, but it is bought quite rarely. The fact is that many fruits reach the shelves unripe.
This avocado is hard as a rock. But true connoisseurs of these fruits know how to make them ripe in 30 minutes. You don't have to do any tricky things to do it.
Avocados release ethylene gas, which speeds up the ripening of the fruit. But this happens more slowly than, for example, in the case of bananas.
Therefore, there are two options to speed up this process. If you do it without rushing, you can simply put the avocado in a bag with bananas for a day. After 24 hours, the fruits will become soft.
If you don’t have time to wait, wrap the avocado in foil and place it in an oven preheated to 90°C for 30 minutes.
High temperatures stimulate the release of ethylene, which reduces the ripening of avocados to half an hour.
