Some owners of houses or apartments regularly sprinkle their thresholds with salt. Although, according to the sign, this should not be done, so as not to bring trouble.
And yet, why do they do this? The answer is simple: purely for practical purposes.
No mysticism, no signs or superstitions. Only ants. Yes, the same ones that bother us with their crawling inside our rooms.
This is where salt comes to the rescue, which, like holy water, drives demons and other evil spirits out of the ants’ home, as well as fleas and a number of other uninvited guests from among insects.
By scattering salt on the threshold, you will reliably close all the loopholes for the aforementioned representatives of living nature to enter the house.
But the main thing is not to overdo it when sprinkling surfaces with salt, as they may suffer from its causticity. Do everything in moderation and carefully.
