A jar of honey at the dacha is a valuable product for evening tea parties in the summer.
But experienced gardeners know that honey can make staying in the house or in the summer kitchen more comfortable.
Midges
One of the troubles of a summer vacation is insects: ants, flies, mosquitoes, midges. The latter become active in the evening and leave no living space on open areas of arms and legs.
Therefore, summer residents make a simple trap for insects. To do this, mix honey and apple cider vinegar in equal proportions, and then pour the mixture into a small container. Place a piece of fruit in it.
The container is covered with cling film and small holes are made. Flies will readily fall for such a treat. But, having touched the liquid, they will not be able to escape from captivity.
Pollinators
An empty honey jar will do to attract bees. Hot water is poured into the container, which will dissolve the remains of the product on the walls. The sweet liquid from the watering can is used to water the plants that need pollination.
