Enameled cookware is a capricious thing, so you need to clean it from burnt food residues carefully.

If the coating is damaged, you can't count on the fact that nothing will happen to the utensils in the future.

Let us remind you how you can tidy up enamel pots.

To clean an enameled steel pan, follow these steps.

1. Pour water into a saucepan and add a little detergent.

2. Place the pan on the stove and bring the water to a boil.

3. Let the water boil for 5-10 minutes to remove impurities.

4. After this, drain the water and rinse the pan with cold water.

5. If there is any burnt-on food residue, use a sponge or brush to remove it.

6. Then wipe the pan with a soft cloth or sponge soaked in soapy water.

7. Rinse the pan with clean water and wipe it dry with a soft cloth.

As for soda and other abrasive or aggressive cleaning agents, personal experience suggests that in this case it will not be possible to preserve the integrity of the enamel.

Also, do not use metal sponges, scrapers or other devices that can scratch the surface of the pan.
