True, there is one condition - if you want the room to look clean, bright, spacious and cozy, the curtains on the window should be dazzling white, and not yellowish or gray, as, unfortunately, often happens over time.
Therefore, we will hasten to tell you about an effective method of bleaching tulle, which was used by our grandmothers. It is not surprising that the method has reached us - after all, it has proven its effectiveness more than once.
What do you need for this? You will need to stock up on green stuff, and also prepare a glass, a basin, and the curtains themselves.
First, fill a glass with warm water and add 5-10 drops of brilliant green, then stir thoroughly.
Now carefully evaluate the result: if no sediment has formed in the glass, the solution can be poured into a basin filled with 7-10 liters of warm water.
If sediment is still found, stir the liquid again and strain through cheesecloth before placing it in a basin.
The tulle should first be washed in the usual way, and then placed in a basin filled with a solution of brilliant green. Here it should lie for 3-5 minutes. During this time, you will need to turn it over several times.
All that remains is to hang the curtains and let the water drain, after which you can safely return them to their place.
