To clean acrylic from fabric, use:
- scraper;
- detergent;
- soap;
- isopropyl alcohol;
- nylon sponge or toothbrush.

How to Remove Acrylic Paint from Clothes
To get rid of the stain, you have two options at your disposal.
- Scrape the paint off the fabric using a scraper, water and soap.
- To avoid damaging the fabric, use this method before the acrylic dries.
Another option:
- Apply washing powder or other detergent to the stain.
- Rub the washing powder gently into the fabric.
- Use a nylon sponge or toothbrush.
- Rinse the item under cold running water.
- Treat the area where the stain used to be with isopropyl alcohol.
Additionally, you can wash clothes stained with acrylic paint in the washing machine, choosing the cold water cycle.
Please note: Acetone or other solvents are not suitable for cleaning items stained with acrylic, as they may damage the fabric and ruin the washing machine.
