How to Clean Children's Musical Toys with Batteries Inside: The Harmless Way
Cute teddy bears, kittens and elephants eventually turn into a real dust ball.
It would seem that there is nothing complicated in cleaning soft toys - just throw them in the drum of the washing machine, then dry them thoroughly, and they are as good as new.
However, this advice does not work for all “sources of children’s joy.”
For example, it is absolutely not suitable for those products that delight their owners with cheerful music or melodic singing: after spending time in a washing machine or in a basin filled with water, the batteries are guaranteed to fail.
What should you do in such a situation?
The answer is simple – baking soda will come to the rescue in the process of cleaning soft musical toys.
It is enough to pour 3-4 tablespoons of soda into a thick bag and place a plush or furry animal there.
Make sure that the edges of the bag are securely tied, then shake it several times effectively so that the white powder evenly covers the toy. In this form, it should be left for 30-40 minutes, and then you need to shake off the soda and you can again come up with a variety of games with your faithful soft "friend".
