Over time, the once dazzling white curtains take on a grey or yellowish tint.

Many housewives see only one way out of this situation – buying new curtains.

However, if you use the method for bleaching tulle described below, you will have the opportunity to postpone the purchase, spending money on something more necessary and useful.

To begin with, of course, the curtains should be washed thoroughly - soak them in warm water with the addition of washing powder for half an hour, and after 30 minutes, knead them with your hands, rinse and wring out.

Now the tulle should be filled with warm water again, after which 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide and a tablespoon of ammonia should be added to the basin.

The curtains will have to take this "bath" for another half hour. Do not forget to "shake" the curtains periodically so that the solution is distributed evenly.

All that remains is to rinse the curtains thoroughly and, after squeezing them out slightly, hang them up to drain and dry.

After such washing, the tulle will become dazzling white, and the room where it hangs will look brighter even on a cloudy day.
