You can restore yellowed tulle to its original whiteness without going to the dry cleaner.
To do this, you will need regular salt. All you have to do is rinse the curtains in warm water and squeeze them out slightly, then prepare the soaking solution.
In a basin filled with hot water, add a small amount of washing powder and that secret ingredient – a handful of table salt.
All that remains is to place the tulle in a saline solution, where it will lie overnight.
When the morning comes, wash the curtains in warm water and you can admire their dazzling whiteness.
If for some reason this method does not work for you, use another option, which requires 2 tablespoons of 3% hydrogen peroxide and 1 tablespoon of ammonia.
Pour the required amount of the specified ingredients into an enamel bucket filled with hot water and immerse the tulle in it.
The bleaching time is only 15-30 minutes, after which the curtains should be rinsed thoroughly.
