Many people think that washing black clothes is easier than cleaning light colored materials.

However, this opinion is wrong. Incorrect washing of a black item can lead to stains appearing on its surface, which are difficult to get rid of.

Let's look at the rules for caring for such products in order to avoid various problems.

Using a washing machine

Before you put a black item in the washing machine drum, turn it inside out. Then carefully check each pocket and remove any excess.

All zippers and buttons should be fastened. Do not overload the drum of the household appliance, as this will not allow dark clothes to rinse properly, and they will become covered in stains.

Wash clothes at a temperature not exceeding 40 degrees. The number of revolutions during spinning of items should be minimal.

Suitable detergents

In specialized stores you can find gels designed specifically for washing dark items. In practice, you should not use ordinary washing powders.

They contain abrasive particles that will wash out the paint and leave unattractive light stains on the material. Cold water does not dissolve the granules well, so you cannot avoid problems.

Washing black items by hand

If we are talking about clothes made of wool or silk, it is better to wash them by hand. The same rule applies to things that contain inserts of light shades.

Fill a basin with warm water and dissolve in it the gel for washing dark clothes. Then leave the item in the basin for fifteen minutes.

When washing the item, make very light squeezing movements, because rubbing the fabric is prohibited. It is recommended to rinse dark-colored clothes in clean water with the addition of vinegar (1:1). Thanks to this, the rich shade of the item will be well preserved.

Removing stains

Did you do something wrong, as a result of which your clothes are covered with white stains? Then you need to start solving the problem immediately. In a basin filled with warm water, add ordinary table vinegar (one large spoon) and laundry soap, grated on a grater.

Keep the item in the prepared solution for ten minutes, then carefully wring it out. Rinse the clothes several times, changing the water, so that no trace remains of the unattractive stains.

Rules for drying dark items

Remember that direct sunlight destroys the structure of dark material. To dry the item, place it away from heat sources in places where sunlight does not reach.

If you are going to dry the product using household appliances, the drying mode should be minimal.

With these simple tips, you can easily wash black clothes. Don't ignore the above rules to avoid ruining your favorite item!
