Why You Shouldn't Throw Away Baby Food Jars: They'll Come in Handy

We probably wouldn't be wrong if we assumed that in every home where there is a small child, there is a pile of jars left over from baby food.

Often these containers are sent straight down the garbage chute, and sometimes they are stacked, taking up space in kitchen cabinets.

If you've encountered a similar problem and still don't understand what a whole box of jars might be useful for, use the advice we'll give you below.

Thus, empty containers, which recently contained meat or fruit puree, can be used to store spices.

The jars, of course, should be washed thoroughly.

In addition to the containers themselves, you will also need scissors, a piece of paper and a pencil, and transparent tape.

Pour the contents of the spice bags into the jars designated for them and screw the lids on tightly, then write the name of the seasoning on paper and stick a label on the jar.

That's it - spices will no longer spill out of the bags and will be reliably protected from moisture.
