To get rid of clothes moths or prevent them from appearing at all, you need to leave some of this “garbage” in the closet.

Experienced housewives have been using this trick for a long time. Thanks to this trick, the winged insect will fly around the closet for a hundred miles.

There is no need to run to the store for a special moth repellent. This method is one of the folk tips that is no less effective than store-bought formulations.

To repel moths, citrus peels are used. For example, if there is orange or lemon peel left over, housewives do not throw it in the trash can, but cut it into small pieces and place it in the corners of the closet.

The smell of citrus fruits is worse than poison for moths. Moths cannot stand any such sharp aroma. Therefore, staying in a smelly closet will be a test for them, which the insect will not pass and will leave things alone.

Some housewives use salt, soda or activated carbon. Any of these products are soaked in 5-7 drops of essential oil and placed on the shelves of the cabinet. The effect is the same as in the case of the peel.
