There's an incredibly simple way to refresh old sheets using one ingredient added to the wash cycle.
This is how you can wash bed linen that somehow miraculously survived in Soviet-era storage. The material is strong, but the coloring may change.
So, you can restore the former shine and freshness of colors during washing.
Moreover, you won’t have to buy expensive household chemicals. The working solution is prepared literally in the bathroom.
You will need just a little bit of ordinary potassium permanganate, water and soap.
A pinch of potassium permanganate should be dissolved in a container of water in which laundry is usually soaked before washing.
Next you need to add two tablespoons of liquid laundry soap.
Mix the ingredients and after they are completely dissolved, immerse the linen sets or sheets and leave for a couple of hours.
After this, drain the water and wash the laundry in the usual way - by hand or in a washing machine on the appropriate setting with a suitable powder.
