Ironing clothes is an integral part of people who care about the cleanliness and tidiness of their clothes.

But sometimes during the work process, incidents arise that result in iron stains.

There are tricks that will help you get rid of the stain. But it is important to act immediately, and not wait for several days.

Synthetics

For this material, you need to take soda and water. The ingredients are mixed to make a paste. It is applied to the problem area and left until completely dry.

For the second option, you will need hydrogen peroxide (5 tbsp) and ammonia (1 tbsp). Mix the ingredients and apply to the mark left by the iron using a cotton pad.

In two cases, after all manipulations, the item must be rinsed in water at room temperature and dried.

Cotton and linen

Sprinkle the stain with salt and pour lemon juice over it. Ideally, dry the clothes in the sun, for example, on a windowsill. After drying, shake off the salt and rinse the item in cool water.

You can also use ammonia with hydrogen peroxide for these materials. The ingredients are combined in equal proportions and applied to the stains. The solution is washed off after 5-10 minutes.

Silk

A soda paste is suitable for delicate fabrics. An onion will return the original color to the clothes. It is grated on a fine grater and applied to the stain for 40-60 minutes. Finally, the clothes should be washed in the usual way to get rid of the onion smell.

Before using any of the products, it is better to conduct a small test on an inconspicuous area of the item to exclude the possibility of a negative effect.
