A kilogram of cherries contains about 150-200 g of pits, which 99% of housewives throw away in the trash.
It turns out that you can find a use for the bones too. Some housewives use them as a base for a homemade heating pad.
1. First, the pits are processed. The kernels are soaked for a day, changing the water periodically.
2. There will be pieces of pulp left on the pits. To get rid of the "cake", you need to boil the kernels in a saucepan over low heat for about an hour.
3. After cooking, cool the bones and then pour water over them. Then take a handful in each hand and rub them together, then drain the liquid. You need 10 of these "rinses".
4. When the kernels are free of pulp, they are dried in the sun.
5. Meanwhile, sew a bag from pieces of fabric. Then fill it 2/3 full with bones and sew the opening with threads.
6. Place the heating pad in an oven preheated to 120 °C or in a microwave. The second device should be set to low power and for a short time.
