How to wash curtains correctly
First, you need to immediately find out what material the curtains are made of, what the manufacturer recommends for washing the products. Curtains that can often be found in homes can be made of materials such as linen, silk, cotton or synthetics.
Secondly, knowing the characteristics of the products, you can determine whether they can be washed in a washing machine or whether hand washing is the only option.
If there are no restrictions on washing, you can put the curtains in the washing machine, but the main thing is not to overload the drum so that they do not get too wrinkled.
It is important to find out whether the washing machine has a program for washing curtains. If there is no such program, then the curtains are washed at 30 degrees, setting the program "Delicate wash", setting the spin speed to 600 revolutions.
After washing, you should immediately straighten the curtains so that they do not change, and iron them to avoid drying out.
In particular, white curtains are washed at 40 degrees, transparent synthetic ones at 30 degrees, linen and silk ones need to be washed in a special way, using a delicate wash program at a temperature no higher than 30 degrees.
Washing panel curtains: wash no more than two panels at a time and without wringing.
