A frying pan with a non-stick coating will peel off in no time, and not only if you use metal objects while cooking.
You can ruin expensive utensils if you wash them incorrectly by hand, in the dishwasher, or even just by frying the wrong thing.
Do not rub the coating with kitchen brushes or the hard side of a kitchen sponge. Only use liquid detergents for cleaning. Also, do not allow sudden temperature changes.
The tablets are to blame here, as they contain quite aggressive chemicals. In addition, the metal basket can easily scratch the utensils.
Once you put the pan on the stove to heat it up, try not to forget about it. If you overheat it a couple of times without oil or food, you may soon find cracks and even chips.
You shouldn't fry potatoes or anything else in a pancake pan - this utensil has its own special purpose. Consider the thickness of the bottom, otherwise you can overheat the pan. Also, you shouldn't pour vinegar or other sour products into such a pan.
Such dishes are definitely not stored in stacks on top of each other. It is better to hang them or put them on special stands. By putting something heavy on top, you will ruin an expensive and necessary thing.
