How to remove scale from the inner walls of a thermos: an unusual method

A thermos is a very useful device. It helps to keep the liquid at a high temperature.

That's why many people take a pre-filled container with them to work or on long trips, during which it is not always possible to make tea, coffee or soup.

However, there is one unpleasant moment. Thus, it is very difficult to restore cleanliness to the inner walls of heat-insulating dishes.

It is unlikely that you will be able to wash the thermos from the inside with a sponge. You also don’t want to use any additional devices for this.

What to do in this case? How to clean the vessel from plaque without using much force? There is a simple way.

What's the trick?

Oddly enough, the secret to a perfectly clean thermos is the use of rose hips.

You need to take a couple dozen dry berries and cut them. The resulting mass should be transferred to a dirty heat-insulating container. Boiling water should be poured into the same container.

The thermos should remain untouched and closed for at least two days.

After the procedure is completed, the vessel will only need to be rinsed with clean water, and most likely no plaque will remain.

If rose hips did not help to completely rid the inner walls of the thermos of dirt the first time, then the second attempt will certainly help.
