Why You Should Never Close Your Microwave After Cooking

Most people close the microwave door after heating or cooking food to make it look aesthetically pleasing, but this should not be done.

It is essential to leave the microwave oven with the door open, because after heating liquid food, water and baking, condensation forms inside.

It covers all surfaces of the inner chamber and should therefore be removed with a dry cloth.

If fat splashes onto the walls of the chamber during cooking or heating food, it must be removed immediately before it has time to harden. Because dried fat will not be easy to wash off later.

After each use of the microwave, it is important to leave the door open for approximately 20 minutes.

During this time, the remaining condensate will dry completely, and the inner chamber will be ventilated.

These actions also prevent the formation of pathogenic microorganisms inside the microwave.
