When choosing curtains for the living room, first of all, you should start from the size of the room.
If the room is large, it is enough to decide on fabrics that should “sing in unison” with natural light.
So, for dark rooms, choose light colors, and if the windows face south, curtains made of heavy fabrics will be appropriate.
They will easily cope with the task assigned to them of darkening the room.
If the living room is modest in size, take a closer look at straight models with a laconic cut.
Alternatively, combine heavy fabrics with light ones. Professional designers recommend using organza, guipure, linen, velvet and taffeta.
Important: the color scheme of the curtains should harmoniously match the interior of the room.
If you want to add a touch of solemnity, use a lambrequin made of thick material. The same soft fabric will do - it will have to be gathered into folds or "bells".
