Salt and reagents that are sprinkled on roads in winter are the reason why shoes become hard and white spots appear clearly on their surface.

If you urgently need to tidy up your boots, you can do it inexpensively and effectively using a product that you probably already have in your kitchen cupboard.

As experienced housewives might have guessed, we are talking about citric acid.

Therefore, you should check if you have some lemon juice in your supplies, and you can start cleaning your boots.

The acid must be dissolved in water (a tablespoon per liter of liquid is enough) and the product must be poured into a container with a spray bottle.

Spray the resulting solution over the entire surface of the shoes and you will see how the suede turns black again and the white marks disappear.

All that remains is to wash off the remaining citric acid from the surface of the boots with a sponge soaked in water.

As a result, you will get clean suede of a bright black color without streaks.
