How to Save on Laundry: A Recipe for a Laundry Detergent That's Suitable Even for Baby Clothes
A simple trick in the form of a homemade laundry detergent will allow you to significantly save your family budget.
To prepare it, you will only need familiar ingredients - a piece of 72% laundry soap and a tablespoon of baking soda.
The bar of soap should be crushed using a fine grater. Transfer the resulting shavings to a deep bowl or saucepan and add a liter of boiling water.
Using a whisk or mixer, beat the mixture until it becomes creamy – it is necessary that all the pieces of soap dissolve and foam appears on the surface.
Now it's time to add the soda, after which the contents of the container should be mixed.
Now it's time to add 5 liters of water. Important: the liquid should be warm. Stir again and leave the washing gel to cool.
The resulting product will have a jelly-like consistency, so it is convenient to store it by pouring it into plastic bottles. A funnel is very useful for this.
Before pouring the gel into the drum or tray, shake the bottle. About 100-150 g of homemade product is needed for one wash.
